Construction Startup Competition winners will get to participate in Builtworlds Venture Conference on Chicago by the end of 2020.
Since the launch of Construction Startup Competition 2020 on May 19, the competition´s organizers have shared all the benefits they offer to participating startups. This year, besides combining five key industry players that are driving innovation efforts into the sector, one of the biggest differences from previous editions is the incredible opportunity winning startups will have to participate in Builtworlds Venture Conference, a two day event to be celebrated in Chicago on December 2020.
Not only will Construction Startup Competition 2020 winners have the opportunity to be a step closer to joining CEMEX Ventures, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group´s Leonard or NOVA by Saint-Gobain´s investment portfolios, they will also have access to industry leaders and investors interested in collaborating with them during the Pitchday and Speed Dating rounds, which will take place during the conference.
During Builtworlds Venture Conference, Construction Startup Competition organizers have arranged for winners to participate in a speed dating round. Just like falling in love on first sight, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to show their best face and have short conversations with relevant industry players about their solutions in order to explore potential ways of collaboration. This will also serve as a practice before their final pitch in front on an audience the next day.
After putting in all the effort and proving to the five players that they have what it takes to transforms the construction industry and make it better, winning startups will get ready to pitch their solution to a crowd of handpicked professionals during the second day of the conference. Each startup will have 10 minutes to present their business, after which all will get evaluated by the judges in order to determine who will be the grand winner (or winners) of this year´s competition.
In order to make their experience even more thorough, winners will enjoy a networking activity post-pitching in order to interact more personally with crowd members, other entrepreneurs and participating startups, the hosts of the competition, investors, and overall important players from the built and venturing scenarios. It will be a perfect closing to a journey that began on May 2020.
