Con esta edici\u00f3n de <em>Construction Startup Competition<\/em>, cinco l\u00edderes de la industria desaf\u00edan esa situaci\u00f3n y buscan identificar nuevas soluciones en las que invertir, probar e implementar en diferentes mercados. In order to streamline systems and ensure ongoing communication, which will in turn boost the working cycle capital, the participating startups must present solutions that offer:<\/p><ul><li>planning and scheduling<\/li><li>communication, automation and monitoring of platforms<\/li><li>programming and compliance of health, safety, environment and quality parameters (HSEQ)<\/li><li>data analytics, benchmarks and reports<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"4\"><li><strong>Innovative construction methods and materials<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>To modernise the construction industry, it must incorporate new materials and technologies. This allows for more efficient and cost-effective developments to be implemented, responding to the current needs of the industry. In this competition, startups will be evaluated considering their use or development of:<\/p><ul><li>low carbon footprint materials and performance enhancers<\/li><li>robotics for automation<\/li><li>new construction methods (i.e. modular and\/or industrialised construction, prefabrication, etc.)<\/li><li>industry 4.0 (development of sensors, smart machinery, use of artificial intelligence, etc.)<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"5\"><li><strong> Smart buildings and cities<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>In order to build the metropolis of the future, we must promote smart cities and buildings with a common denominator: technology, sustainability and quality of life. Therefore, participating startups should offer solutions that promote resilient and collaborative cities, by incorporating:<\/p><ul><li>smart building technology<\/li><li>adequate waste management systems in construction, demolition and excavation (CDE)<\/li><li>asset maintenance and management<\/li><\/ul><p>All of the participating startups must clearly state the benefit that their project offers.
